Statement of Purpose

My goal is to help companies produce and sustain a strategic competitive advantage in acquiring, developing, retaining and recapturing customers through artificial intelligence.

I accomplish this goal by maintaining an active research agenda in artificial intelligence applied to marketing automation problems and sharing newly gained insights by (i) publishing in a diverse set of journals, (ii) training and developing upcoming talent through university teaching, and (iii) offering advising, and coaching services to companies wishing early access to new knowledge in the field of AI. The latter includes executive coaching, hardware advice, software advice, code reviews, strategy development, model building, algorithm implementation, assistance with hiring and building teams, skill development, training sessions, and evaluations of legacy solutions.
