2016 JPIM/MSI Research Workshop: Innovation in Data-Rich Environments
On June 8th-10th, 60+ people attended the workshop on 'Innovation in Data-Rich Environments' (click here for the schedule), co-chaired by Dr. Neeraj Bharadwaj , Associate Professor of Marketing & Supply Chain Management, and Dr. Charles Noble , Henry Professor of Business and Associate Dean for Research and Faculty. The workshop took place at the Haslam College of Business.
This has by far been the best conference I attended this year. The relatively restricted attendance had the big advantage that, over the course of three days, one had multiple occasions to develop a bond with other scholars. This is a welcome change from some of the mega conferences I attend each year.
I was going to write a more detailed report of the workshop but, since there are already two good summaries out there (see here and here ), I'll just post the pictures below.
Thank you Neeraj and Charlie for this wonderful event. The organization was impeccable, the interactions and presentations were very stimulating. Last but not least: everybody had a great time!
Interesting fact: this car has over 700hp. Make sure to turn on your sound. See here for more information.
